What an a amazing evening. Thank you so much @dfsofficial for making it all possible, the Hawaii staff is next level incredible! Thank you to all my surf friends who came down and spent several hours signing autographs, really appreciate everyone's time & effort. Thank you to Clyde Aikau and the Aikau Ohana for joining us to honor such an amazing day. And thank you very much to all family, friends & new friends I met last Saturday night that came down to spend the evening with us, waiting in line & being so friendly and supportive! That's a long way down! Mason Ho(@cocom4debarrelkilla ) during this past years Eddie Aikau at Waimea Bay. Tomorrow night May 7th from 7-9pm @dfsofficial in Waikiki we will be unveiling the new Eddie gallery of my images. They are printed large by Canon & displayed on the walls.

My actual gear used that day to shoot in the water is on display along with @quiksilver X @aqualungdivers inflation suit with a note from the creator on how and why, plus @koarothman's surf board from the day at Waimea is on display.

We are having a signing of specialty surf prints I have shot from 7-9pm with all profits going to the Eddie Aikau foundation. This is one of the walls in the gallery as a tribute to living legend Clyde Aikau who competed with a torn shoulder throughout the contest after a fall on his first wave, all prints in the gallery courtesy of Canon. Clyde will be there Saturday night from 7-9pm along with @davewassel @therealaarongold @kala_dacaptain @ezra_sitt @micahmoniz @koarothman @eli_olson @nathan_florence @cocom4debarrelkilla @makuarothman @tommyd_4 @billykemper @mikeybruneau . Very excited to announce the grand opening of my newest photo gallery of images shot from the 2016 Eddie Aikau competition. This Saturday May 7th from 7-9pm @dfsofficial in Waikiki! Images of the surf are on the walls from that historic day, we have a bio of Eddie & Clyde Aikau up! My actual gear on that day are in a special glass viewing case with information next to them, the special flotation vest designed by @quiksilver X @aqualungdivers is on display with a note from the inventor, we have @koarothman's actual board used in the Eddie on display in a case as well. This will be up throughout the summer if you can't make the grand opening this Saturday. But at the grand opening Saturday we will have Clyde Aikau, @koarothman, @eli_olson, @ezra_sitt @therealaarongold @makuarothman @nathan_florence @micahmoniz @tommyd_4 @billykemper @mikeybruneau @cocom4debarrelkilla @kala_dacaptain on hand signing some of my favorite photos of them with all profits going to the Eddie Aikau foundation!
